Program:
View the program-at-a-glance, here. The preliminary detailed program is available here. We are hard at work and updates will be posted as they become available.

Overview:
The 2024 Annual Meeting & Postgraduate Course has been structured so that the Annual Meeting will be in-person (April 13 – 15) at the InterContinental Miami in Miami, Florida, and the Postgraduate Course will follow fully live online (April 25 – 26). There will still be a hybrid track throughout the Annual Meeting that will be broadcast for remote learners, as was done for the 2023 meeting. As always, SPR 2024 will bring the pediatric radiology community together to learn more about state-of-the-art pediatric imaging and its positive impact on the children we serve. The Annual Meeting will include numerous concurrent scientific and midday sessions in addition to special featured lectures and the ever-popular SPR Jeopardy session. This year is particularly special as we welcome the members of La Sociedad Latino Americana de Radiología Pediátrica (SLARP) to our event with one full day of program components entirely in Spanish!  Another highlight of our Annual Meeting is a special Pediatric Contrast US Hands-On Workshop which will include small group, hands-on sessions where attendees will practice contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) scanning using teaching models that will simulate intravenous CEUS and contrast-enhanced voiding urosonography applications. You also won't want to miss the official debut of the SPR Shark Tank! The Annual Meeting will be followed by a fully live online postgraduate course (April 25 – 26) - click here for details.

Target Audience:
The educational content is designed for all pediatric radiologists, general radiologists, residents, fellows, technologists and other allied health professionals that care for the pediatric patient.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of the course, attendees should be able to:
1) Summarize the most current information on state-of-the-art pediatric imaging and intervention.
2) Describe new technologies and clinical workflow for pediatric imaging and intervention.
3) Identify trends in pediatric radiology research regarding the care and management of pediatric patients.
4) Discuss the need of supporting pediatric imaging at a global level and understand the global need and impact of knowledge sharing to improve the care of more children.
5) Explain the best and most up-to-date practice regarding patient safety and quality.

Hotel website

Special Note: The InterContinental Miami is currently sold out for the nights of Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13. We suggest that your preferred travel website be consulted to find an alternate hotel that will meet your needs. Our team at the InterContinental Miami has suggested that the Kimpton Epic is a nice hotel and only a 5-minute walk from the InterContinental. The SPR does not have agreements with the Kimpton or any other properties in the area. We would suggest that you make alternate accommodations as needed for the nights of April 12 and 13 and check back with the InterContinental Miami as the meeting dates draw near (1-800-235-4670). They often have cancellations as the meeting approaches so you may be able to expand your stay.

Staying at the conference hotel within the group block both ensures you take advantage of our discounted room rates AND helps the Society meet its contractual obligations to the hotel. Thanks for doing your part to support the SPR!

Hybrid Track (In-Person & Live Online):
To meet the growing demand for remote learning, the planning committee has designated a track within the Annual Meeting program to be broadcast live online via the Zoom Webinar platform (slides and audio only).

For program details, reference the program here. Sessions included in this In-Person + Online track are designated as a "Hybrid Session" within the Program.

Both in-person registrants and those registered for only Annual Meeting live online participation will have access to the broadcast to offer flexibility to our in-person learners as well.

On-demand viewing will not be an option. Participation live, either in-person or remotely, is required for attendance and credit claiming.

An enduring, on-demand offering will be created from the session recordings and offered for purchase following the meeting. Access to the on-demand recordings is not included in the cost of registration for the live meeting.

Health and Safety Measures:
At this time there are no mask or vaccination requirements to attend the SPR 2024 Annual Meeting in-person. The SPR will continue to monitor CDC recommendations and will update safety measures as appropriate. For the most up-to-date information on SPR 2024 health and safety precautions and requirements, continue to monitor this page.

International Letter of Invitation/Visa Request:
If you require a letter of invitation for visa acquirement purposes, please complete the request form here. The Society is only able to provide letters of invitation to individuals that are participating in the meeting as an attendee of the educational sessions. A letter of invitation for a guest of a meeting attendee will not be provided by the Society.
